This was extremely hard to tolerate but I am happy with the result. Used for 1 squamish and 1 basel on my chest. Brought out 46 sites. Very itchy and burning. Used Mon, Wed and Fri for 7 wks. Had all side effects, Flu, diarreah, depression. Took 2 weeks after I finished treatment to feel somewhat normal. Whole chest healed much quicker than I thought

I used Aldara for one week after being diagnosed with genital warts. During this week I experience severe muscle pain in my back that was unbearable. I have to note that I have a high tolerance for pain. I have had 2 c-sections and barely need any pain medicine for it. But this back pain caused by the medicine, I could not stand. It also made me feel like I have a horrible flu and made me so dizzy that I passed out. I quit using the medicine but the back pain hasn't gotten any better. I really thing people should re think using this medicine. Severe back pain is not worth it to me!!!!!!

I will never use this cream again. Week one, I used it Mon., Wed., & Fri., By Sunday my face was burning - to the point I was vomiting. Within 2 days I had scabs all over the affected area. I couldn't sleep, I was depressed, had terrible headaches and my blood pressure went through the roof.

BEFORE using Aldera try the apple cider vinegar treatment. I Used Aldera back in September and had horrible side effects from it but my warts did go away. My boyfriend recently just broke out about a month and a half ago and instead of him going through the pain of Aldera I told him to try the Apple cider vinegar treatment first, and he did and IT WORKED!!!! All you do is soak/dab one side (either way) of a cotton ball with the vinegar and apply it to the effected area with a band aide or some kind of tape and leave it on over night. He didn't have many warts a about 4 small ones and 1 larger one on his shaft but they were literally gone within less than a week!!! and it was pain free!!!

Aldara cream contains the active ingredient imiquimod, which is a type of medicine called an immunomodulator. It is used to treat three different skin conditions: genital warts, small superficial skin cancers and actinic keratoses.

I've been using aldara for warts on my finger that have been impossible to go away. I used it first for two months and the warts only went away slightly. I got the prescription refilled after a few weeks and my warts are completly gone now after only a few weeks of reusing! I had no pain, swelling, nausea, nothing. Thank god for aldara, nothing else worked before this.
